Qatar Airways resumes flights to UK

Dhaka: Qatar Airways has resumed flights to the United Kingdom from June 11.

“In line with latest UK Government guidelines, effective June 11, 2021, we are able to fly British, Irish nationals, and UK residents into London-Heathrow (LHR) again from Qatar and across our network,” said the airline in a notice.

“This is in addition to continuing to accept our passengers traveling to Edinburgh (EDI),” the airline added.

Passengers arriving at London-Heathrow (LHR), regardless of their point of origin, are required to undergo mandatory quarantine at designated hotels for 10 days, unless they are transiting internationally (outside of the UK), or are exempted in accordance with the UK government guidelines.

Departing passengers from London-Heathrow (LHR) will continue to fly alongside the airline’s Oneworld partner, British Airways from Terminal 5 of the airport.

There are no nationality and residency restrictions applicable to the airline’s passengers departing from the UK.

Passengers are advised to continuously check entry requirements for their destinations.
