Renowned tour operator Taufiq Rahman tests COVID-positive
Dhaka: Taufiq Rahman, CEO of one of the leading tour operating company of the country Journey Plus, has been admitted to Square Hospital in the capital recently after testing positive for coronavirus.
Rahman got tested after showing symptoms for a few days. After the result turned out to be positive, he was taken to the hospital for treatment and will be kept there until he recovers or till he gets well enough to go home.
On October 19, Rahman was appointed as the Global Board Member of Pacific Asia Travel Association for the period 2020-2021. It may be mentioned here that Taufiq Rahman is also the Secretary General of PATA Bangladesh Chapter.
