Visitors win attractive prizes at DTM raffle draws

Dhaka : Winners of the grand and daily raffle draws at the Dhaka Travel Mart 2026 were announced, adding excitement to the country's premier travel fair with a wide range of prizes including international and domestic air tickets, luxury hotel stays, and dining experiences.

The grand raffle draw, held on April 11 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, awarded top international travel prizes to several lucky participants. Among them, Shakiul Alam won a Dhaka-Maldives-Dhaka return air ticket for a couple, while Sardar Anwar Ali, Kazi Aminul Islam, and Taufiqul Islam secured return tickets to Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur respectively, all courtesy of US-Bangla Airlines.

Domestic travel prizes were also distributed, with winners including Rasel, Hasan Al Sajid, and MU Ahmed receiving return air tickets on routes such as Dhaka-Cox's Bazar, Dhaka-Chattogram, and Dhaka-Sylhet, sponsored by Air Astra and other carriers.

Hotel stays and hospitality packages formed another major attraction of the draw. Winners such as Anika Ibnat Haque, Md Abul Bashar, and Sabbir Ahmed received complimentary stays at leading resorts in Cox's Bazar, while Nasrin and Shahidul Islam won stay packages at Pan Pacific Sonargaon. Dining experiences at prominent hotels in Dhaka were also awarded to several participants.

In addition to the grand draw, daily raffle draws for online registrants were held on April 9, 10, and 11. Winners from these rounds included Engineer Anisur Rahman, Rajib, and AKM Moynul Hasan, who received domestic air tickets, along with others who won buffet dining experiences at leading hotels.

The closing ceremony and the grand raffle draw was attended by prominent industry figures, including Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor of The Bangladesh Monitor; M Shafiqul Islam and Kamrul Islam of US-Bangla Airlines; Mesbahul Islam of Air Astra; and Md Saiful Haque of Sabre Corporation, who handed over prizes to the winners.

This year, Air Astra Dhaka Travel Mart 2026 welcomed over 15,000 visitors throughout three days at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on April 9-11.
