Dhaka: Oman Air will operate nonstop daily flights between Dhaka and Muscat starting May 1, said the airline in an official statement on April 21. The Muscat-based carrier currently operates five weekly flights on this route.
The Dhaka-bound flight, WY317, will depart Muscat at 08:25 and arrive in Dhaka at 15:10, while the return flight, WY318, will leave Dhaka at 16:00 to reach Muscat at 18:50. All times are local.
Oman Air said on selected days the airline will offer its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering passengers 30 luxurious business class and 258 spacious economy class seats in a comfortable two-class cabin layout.
Oman Air passengers will have access to smooth onward connections to key European destinations, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome, Milan, Zurich, Istanbul, Moscow, and Copenhagen via Muscat. The airline currently connects travelers to 44 destinations across Europe, the GCC, Asia, and Africa.
Oman Air's inflight entertainment system, ARIA, will be available on all flights, offering popular international films, TV series, music, and games.
Business class travelers receive complimentary lounge access in Muscat, while eligible economy class passengers may access the Primeclass Departure Lounge.
Frequent flyers can further enhance their travel experience by enrolling in the airline’s loyalty program, Sindbad, which is also linked to the Oneworld Alliance partner network. The program allows its members to earn and redeem miles across a wide network, enjoy exclusive privileges, and unlock tier-based benefits.
In addition to passenger travel, Oman Air continues to play a vital role in supporting regional trade with its belly-hold cargo capacity. The airline offers up to 1.5 tonnes of capacity on narrow-body aircraft and 14 tonnes on wide-body jets.
