Chuti Group expands tourism footprint with projects in Cox's Bazar, Kuakata, Gazipur

Dhaka
: Chuti Group, a homegrown hospitality and tourism company, is expanding its
footprint across Bangladesh with a series of resort and hotel projects aimed at
developing eco-tourism, coastal tourism and nature-based hospitality.
The
group, which began its journey with Chuti Resort Gazipur in 2012, now has
projects at Cox's Bazar, Kuakata and Gazipur, including a proposed
seven-star-standard hotel and several luxury villa developments.
Md Mizanur Rahman, Co-founder and Managing Director of Chuti Cox's Bazar Ltd, said the group's expansion is driven by a long-term ambition to develop Bangladesh's tourism potential through environmentally conscious and internationally competitive hospitality projects.

From
Gazipur to coast
Chuti
Group's journey began on December 12, 2012, when FNF Resort, popularly known as
Chuti Resort Gazipur, opened in Sukundi village surrounded by the forests of
Gazipur.
The
founders envisioned an eco-tourism model that would make leisure travel more
accessible while incorporating environmental considerations into hospitality
development.
Over
the following years, Chuti developed a reputation as a destination for leisure
and nature-based tourism. The company is now seeking to replicate and expand
that model in major tourism destinations across the country.
Its
move into Cox's Bazar began with Chuti Resort Cox's Bazar and Chuti Tropical
Villa, which started in 2022 along Marine Drive Road near Jahajpura, Teknaf.
Cox's
Bazar projects take shape
Construction
of the five-star-standard Chuti Resort Cox's Bazar formally began in January
2026 in partnership with a Chinese construction company.
The
project is being developed using modern construction technology,
international-grade materials and engineering expertise. According to the
group, construction is progressing with the target of making the resort fully
operational by 2028.
Alongside
the resort, Chuti Tropical Villa is being developed as a private vacation
concept combining nature, privacy and luxury.
The
approximately 10-katha development includes four independent cottages, a
private swimming pool, landscaped surroundings and modern amenities. The first
villa was completed and handed over to its client within 10 months, with
ownership transferred through registered deed.
Another major Cox's Bazar development is Chuti Bay, launched in 2025 at Kolatoli. The project is being positioned as a seven-star-standard hotel, with architecture and facilities designed to raise the level of luxury hospitality in the country's most prominent beach destination.

Construction
has progressed to the third-floor roof slab, with the group targeting
completion by 2030.
New
coastal project in Kuakata
Chuti
is also expanding into Kuakata with Chuti Santorini at Lembur Bon Sunset Point.
The
project is planned as a coastal hospitality destination featuring 15 luxury
tropical villas and an international-standard high-rise hotel.
The
development is designed around Kuakata's distinctive appeal as a location where
visitors can experience both sunrise and sunset over the Bay of Bengal.
The
group said the project is intended to combine coastal scenery with contemporary
architecture, premium accommodation and nature-focused experiences.
Nokkhotrobari
joins portfolio
In
2026, Chuti Group added another property to its portfolio by taking over
Nokkhotrobari in Gazipur, founded by artist couple Tauquir Ahmed and Bipasha
Hayat.
The
property developed a reputation as a cultural and creative retreat, hosting art
exhibitions, film screenings, theatre activities, art camps and other cultural
programs.
Under
the Chuti Nokkhotrobari Resort identity, the group plans to retain the
property's cultural character and mature landscape while upgrading
accommodation, dining, recreation, conference and event facilities.
The
company said the development will seek to preserve the connection between
nature, art and creativity that has defined the property.
Building
nationwide hospitality network
Chuti
Group's expanding project pipeline reflects a broader effort by local
hospitality operators to capitalize on Bangladesh's growing domestic tourism
market and the potential of its major leisure destinations.
From
the forests of Gazipur to the beaches of Cox's Bazar and Kuakata, the group is
positioning its properties around nature, local identity and increasingly
sophisticated hospitality experiences.
For
Chuti, the strategy represents a continuation of the vision established when
its first resort opened nearly 14 years ago: developing tourism destinations
that combine Bangladesh's natural and cultural assets with modern hospitality
standards.
