InterContinental Dhaka concludes IHG’s Giving for Good Month with community initiatives

Dhaka: InterContinental Dhaka has concluded IHG Hotels & Resorts’ “Giving for Good Month” with a series of community-focused initiatives aimed at supporting well-being and creating a positive social impact.

As part of the month-long activities, hotel colleagues participated in a blood donation drive in association with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), voluntarily donating blood to support patients in need.

The hotel’s colleagues also distributed food among people in need as part of its community support initiative.

In addition, employees took part in a Power Walk to promote healthy lifestyles, physical activity, and overall well-being.

The hotel also organized a cleanliness drive around its perimeter, with colleagues working to maintain a cleaner, healthier, and more welcoming environment.

InterContinental Dhaka said the initiatives reflected its commitment to IHG Hotels & Resorts’ “Journey to Tomorrow” program and its belief that meaningful change begins with collective action.

The initiatives were part of IHG’s Giving for Good Month, which encourages colleagues across the group to contribute to communities and support causes through volunteering and other activities.
