Singapore Airlines tops 2026 passenger-voted airline awards

Singapore : Singapore Airlines emerged as the biggest winner in the 2026 AirlineRatings.com Flyers' Choice Awards, securing four titles based entirely on passenger votes.

The airline was named the preferred carrier for Economy Class, Best Cabin Crew Service, favorite airline in Central and Southeast Asia, and the airline offering passengers the greatest "Peace of Mind."

Unlike AirlineRatings.com's expert-based rankings, the Flyers' Choice Awards reflect travelers' preferences and experiences.

Emirates led the Middle East and Africa category, followed by Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways. The Dubai-based carrier also won Preferred Premium Economy and finished second in Preferred Economy, Business Class and Best Cabin Crew.

Qatar Airways took the top spot for Preferred Business Class, with Emirates second and Singapore Airlines third. The airline's Qsuite product was highlighted as a major factor behind its continued popularity among passengers.

Etihad placed third in the Middle East and Africa and also ranked among the top three for Best Cabin Crew and Best Aircraft Livery. It was additionally recognized in the Peace of Mind category.

Elsewhere, Delta Air Lines led the USA and Canada, British Airways topped the UK and Europe, Cathay Pacific won North East Asia, and Qantas ranked first in Australia and the Pacific.

Vietnam Airlines won Best Aircraft Livery, while Vietjet Air was named the favorite low-cost carrier.
