Westin Dhaka hosting FIFA WC final screening

Dhaka: The Westin Dhaka is set to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026 final with a range of live screening events and football-themed dining experiences, offering guests multiple venues to watch the championship match between Argentina and Spain.

The hotel will host live screenings at its Grand Ballroom, transformed into a stadium-style fan zone, as well as at the Lobby Lounge (TLR) and Splash restaurant. Guests will be able to enjoy specially curated World Cup-inspired menus, signature finger foods, gourmet platters, international cuisine, and beverages while watching the final on giant screens.

To mark the occasion, the hotel's Daily Treats outlet has also introduced a limited collection of football-themed desserts, including customized celebration cakes, artisan cakes, themed cupcakes, and handcrafted football chocolate pralines created by the hotel's pastry team.

The special menu includes football-themed cupcakes priced at BDT 350 net each, regular celebration cakes at BDT 5,500 net, and artisan signature cakes at BDT 6,450 net. Customized World Cup-themed cakes and desserts will also be available on request.

The hotel said the initiative aims to provide football fans with a festive atmosphere to enjoy the tournament finale, combining live sports entertainment with premium dining and hospitality.
