Bangladesh envoy submits credentials to EU leaders

Dhaka: Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Belgium, Khandker Masudul Alam, has formally presented his Letters of Credence as Head of Mission to the European Union (EU).

The credentials were submitted to António Costa, President of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, in a ceremony held at the Berlaymont, the European Commission’s headquarters in Brussels, on Thursday (Sep 11).

Following the formal proceedings, a reception was held in honour of the newly accredited ambassadors, according to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Embassy.
