Fly Jinnah adds new flights to Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Pakistani low-cost carrier Fly Jinnah announced on Thursday (Feb 27) that it will further expand its operations in Saudi Arabia with the launch of daily non-stop flights between Riyadh and Islamabad.

The new service, set to begin on March 30, will connect Islamabad International Airport with King Khalid International Airport, enhancing Fly Jinnah’s presence in the Kingdom.

Fly Jinnah, a joint venture between Lakson Group of Pakistan and Sharjah’s Air Arabia Group, received permits to operate on international routes in October 2023. Since then, the airline has rapidly increased the number of flights between Pakistan and the GCC.

It recently expanded its operations in Saudi Arabia with non-stop flights between Lahore and three key Saudi cities, including Dammam, Riyadh, and Jeddah.

Additionally, with the new route between Riyadh and Islamabad, Fly Jinnah enhances connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to meet the growing travel demand between the two nations.

A Fly Jinnah spokesperson said, "This addition reflects our commitment to providing affordable and convenient travel options while further strengthening the cultural and economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.”

With a fleet of six Airbus A320 aircraft, Fly Jinnah also has a robust domestic operation, serving five major cities in Pakistan: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. The airline also operates double daily flights between Sharjah and Lahore.
