Riyadh: Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, and British airline, Virgin Atlantic, announces a codeshare agreement starting this month.

This partnership aims to enhance travel experiences and expand route networks for both airlines, benefiting tourism and business sectors alike.

The codeshare agreement will offer numerous advantages for passengers of both airlines. Travelers can book connecting flights on Saudia and Virgin Atlantic with a single ticket, simplifying the booking process and ensuring seamless baggage handling to their final destination.

Frequent flyers will also benefit from the agreement, as they can utilise their membership perks and earn miles towards status upgrades on both airlines; Saudia's Al Fursan members will be able to earn and redeem miles on Virgin Atlantic flights.
