Armani to launch 3rd hotel in SA

The Armani Hotel in Diriyah will be the third in the Armani Hospitality brand and pay tribute to the unique architecture and landscape of the Diriyah region, as well as Saudi Arabia as a whole. The new luxury property will be a collaboration between Giorgio Armani and his in-house architects and interior design team, as well as Diriyah.
The new Armani Hotel Diriyah will be just 15 minutes from Riyadh, and the property will be surrounded by the At-turaif world heritage site and palm groves of Wadi Hanifah. Naturally, the Armani hotel will have views of Diriyah’s luxury hospitality and retail quarter.
The Armani Hotel Diriyah will have 70 rooms, a high-end spa and two restaurants. Suites will boast their own swimming pools and spa. For those who don’t want to leave, the hotel will be connected to 18 self-contained Armani-branded residences.
If you’re looking for a chic staycation spot, the Armani Hotel Diriyah could be your new place to escape to when it opens. No opening date has been announced as of yet.
Diriyah is considered the birthplace of the Saudi Arabia, and it was the capital of the very first Saudi state. Furthermore, the 300-year-old site is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, At-Turaif, the valley, Wadi Hanifah, and Diriyah Gate Development Project.
Diriyah Gate in Riyadh is a $20 billion heritage and tourism mega-project, spearheaded by Diriyah Gate Development Authority, and is part of Saudi Vision 2030. The development will eventually be home to 100,000 people and aims to attract 25 million visitors annually.
As part of the developing area, it was also recently announced that a Four Seasons Hotel is coming to Diriyah. The forthcoming Four Seasons will be located in Wadi Hanifah, and the luxury hotel will draw inspiration from local traditions. An opening date has yet to be revealed.
