28th US Trade Show at Pan Pacific Sonargoan Dhaka from Oct 27-29

Dhaka: The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) and the United States Embassy, Dhaka is co-sponsoring the 28th Annual US Trade Show 2022 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka from October 27 to 29, 2022.
The press conference on October 25 held at the hotel was attended by the United States Ambassador to Bangladesh Peter D Haas and AmCham President Syed Ershad Ahmed.
Since 1992, this three-day long exhibition has been Bangladesh's one of the pristine annual business event which draws thousands of visitors each edition.
The show will be inaugurated by Tipu Munshi, Commerce Minister of Bangladesh as the chief guest and Arun Venkataraman, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Global Markets and Director General of the US and Foreign Commercial Service, as the special guest on October 27 at 10:30 am at the venue.
It may be mentioned here that the annual US Trade Show is one of the major activities that AmCham Bangladesh undertakes with a view to stimulating greater understanding about each other's economic potentials and opportunities.
This year, over hundreds of US products represented by 44 exhibitors from home and abroad (occupying 76 booths) will be on display during this three-day event.
Besides the exhibition of American products and services, there would also be five seminars during the show: on day one, Thursday, October 27, seminars titled "Logistics for Regional Connectivity" at 3:00 pm and "Intellectual Property Rights and Impact on Cross Border Business" at 4:30 pm, on day two, Friday, October 28, seminars titled "Education USA" at 3:00 pm and "Business/Investor visa" at 4:30 pm and on day 3, Saturday, October 29, seminars on "USAID: Support for Private Sector Growth" at 3:00 pm will be held.
The show will remain open for visitors all three days October 27, 28 and 29 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm including the seminars. The entry fee for this year's show is BDT 30 per person.
Students in uniform or with identity cards will be allowed free entry. There will be attractive prizes for few lucky winners from the visitors based on a raffle draw of entry ticket coupons after the trade show.
