BBC Master Chef UK: Professionals 2020 Finalists' team coming to Nepal

Dhaka: Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter has invited the BBC Master Chef UK: Professionals 2020 Finalists' team, including MasterChef Santosh Sah, Safe Alex, Safe Bart and Safe Philippa, who will arrive in Kathmandu on April 7, 2022, and will be visiting different locations in Nepal to promote the destination and the Nepali culture and Cuisine.

The Master Chefs will also attend the Formal Function and Annual Award Presentation Ceremony during the 45th Annual General Meeting being held under the theme "Healing the Past, Shaping the Future"on Monday, 11th April 2022, in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The MasterChef Finalists' Tour to Nepal is one of the envisaged events and programmes by PATA Nepal Chapter to support the post-pandemic recovery initiatives of the ailing Tourism industry of Nepal by promoting its culture and cuisine.

The event includes: MasterChefs' Fine-Dining programmes themed at Nepalese Cuisine in Kathmandu, Event themed at "Mithila Cuisine and Recipes" in Janakpur, Tourism Promotional Event at Kalapatthar, Everest Base Camp, Wild Spices Hunting by MasterChefs in Bardiya to discover the lure and secret of Nepal's Cuisine!, MasterChefs' Interaction with local Tharu Cooks and Preparation of Authentic Tharu Cuisine followed by Dinner with Tharu Cultural Programme in Bardiya, West Nepal, and visit to Pokhara, the capital of adventure Tourism in Nepal.

This programme is supported by Nepal Tourism Board as Main Promoter, SriLankan Airlines as the Official Airlines partner, Nabil Bank as the Banking Partner and CIWEC Hospital as the Health Partner. Similarly, the domestic airlines - Buddha Air and Summit Air, NATHM, KGH Group of Hotels, Community Homestay Network, Siddhartha Business Group of Hospitality, GATE, Galaxy TV, Sunflow Sunflower Oil and Highground Adventure have also collaborated and supported the initiative by PATA Nepal Chapter.
