Emirates to resume third service between Dubai, Dhaka starting April 12

Dhaka: Dubai-based UAE flag carrier Emirates will resume its third service between Dubai and Dhaka from this month, said the airline in an official announcement on Wednesday, April 8. The move is aimed at enhancing capacity, connectivity, and flexibility for passengers on the route.
The first flight of this newly announced service is scheduled to take off from Dubai on April 12, while the Dubai-bound return flight will depart from Dhaka on the following day, April 13. The service will run daily except Mondays from Dubai and Tuesdays from Dhaka.
According to Emirates, the Dhaka-bound flight, EK584, will depart from Dubai at 16:45 and arrive in Dhaka at 23:20. The return flight, EK585, will leave Dhaka at 1:40 the next day and reach Dubai at 4:30. All times are local.
The new six-weekly service will complement the Middle Eastern carrier's existing two daily services between Dubai and Dhaka.
The airline's first daily service, EK582, departs Dubai at 02:00 and arrives in Dhaka at 08:40. While the return flight, EK583, leaves Dhaka at 10:15 and reaches Dubai at 13:15. All times are local.
Meanwhile, the second daily service, EK586, departs Dubai at 10:30 and arrives in Dhaka at 17:25. The return leg, EK587, leaves Dhaka at 19:30 and reaches Dubai at 22:30. All times are local.
Emirates expects the addition of the third service will strengthen passenger and cargo movement between Bangladesh and the UAE, in addition to offering more flexibility for travelers.
