Malaysian Heritage Night in Dhaka promotes Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign
Dhaka: The High Commission of Malaysia in Dhaka has launched the “Malaysian Heritage Night” to promote the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 national tourism campaign and to showcase country’s rich cultural heritage.
The culinary and cultural event, which began on Tuesday, will continue until September 12, 2026, at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport.
The initiative aims to encourage Bangladeshi travelers to explore Malaysia and experience the country’s diverse culture, cuisine and attractions under the campaign’s theme, “Surreal Experiences.” The national tourism campaign has recently been extended through the end of 2027 to position Malaysia as a safe, stable and competitive travel destination amid changing global travel trends.
As part of the Malaysian Heritage Night, guests can experience a selection of traditional Malaysian dishes. The opening night also featured a live performance of traditional Sape music by renowned Bornean musician Jerry Kamit as part of the “Sounds of Borneo” cultural showcase.
Through the event, the High Commission is highlighting Malaysia’s diverse culinary traditions and indigenous cultural heritage while inviting Bangladeshi travelers to explore the country during the 2026–2027 travel seasons.
The gala dining offer is priced at BDT 8,999 net per person, with a “Dine 4 Pay 1” offer available on selected bank cards.
