Md Nasimul Azim joins Sikder Resort and Villas as Group GM

Dhaka: Mohammed Nasimul Azim has joined as the Group General Manager for Sikder Resort and Villas as well as Ocean View Hotel and Convention, Kuakata, Bangladesh.

He brings with him an extensive experience in the hospitality industry coupled with his incredible passion for looking after the guests.

Azim has been working in tourism and hospitality sector for more than 32 years as a hospitality and tourism professional and an academician.

Before joining Sikder Resort and Villas, he was working as a Chief consultant of Ornate Hotel, a Japan- Bangladesh joint venture enterprise at Bijoynagar, Dhaka. Before working as a Chief consultant of Hotel Ornet, he worked for nine years as a CEO of Western Group, a mother company of Hotel Sea Palace Ltd, Cox’s bazar and Rana Resort and Amassment Park Khulna. He was also a Founding General Manager of Hotel Sea Palace Cox’s bazar.

Mohammed Nasimul Azim received graduation degree in Hospitality Management from the USA and MBA degree in Hospitality Management from the UK.

He worked as a Chairman of Tourism and Hospitality Department of Victoria University of Bangladesh.

Currently, he works as an advisor for the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of World University of Bangladesh, an adjunct faculty for the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Daffodil International University.
