Passengers from all countries except those listed by CAAB can enter BD irrespective of Covid vaccination

Dhaka: Irrespective of the Covid-19 vaccination, passengers from all countries except Argentina, Botswana, Cuba, Cyprus, Eswatini, Georgia, Iran, Libya, Malaysia, Mongolia, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Iraq, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Namibia, Netherlands, Panama, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia and the UK can enter Bangladesh.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh said this in a circular on August 16.
Upon arrival, passengers from all countries except the ones mentioned above, irrespective of Covid-19 vaccination status, will have to complete 14-days strict home quarantine.
However, if any Covid-19 symptoms are detected/observed on arrival, he/she will be sent to government authorized hospital for further checkup or depending on the nature of the symptoms will be sent to isolation at government nominated facilities or hotels at passenger’s own expense.
Passengers originating from this group of countries can have transit via the countries mentioned above provided they are kept confined within transit airport under the close supervision of the airlines.
