Apollo Chennai offers ultramodern treatment services at reasonable cost
Dhaka : Apollo is a well-known name in the arena of Medical Services. It has its spread in India and even out of India. The Bangladesh Monitor sat with Sunjeeda Sayeed, who was representing Apollo Chennai, while it was promoting its services for Bangladeshi patients visiting the Hospital at Chittagong Travel Mart 2022.
Sunjeeda Sayeed mentioned that they are providing full services to patients such as visa letter issuance, doctor's appointment, accommodation for patients and their attendants, and consultation. Not to mention, as per the patient's condition, they advise on the treatment plan and cost.
The aim is to provide satisfactory service to the patient from their first contact to the completion of the treatment and finally the follow up continues till the patient is fully cured, Sayeed noted.
A large number of patients visit India each day for medical services and Apollo Chennai is handling approximately 60/70 patients daily.
Cancer treatment is an expensive one but Apollo is providing the service at a reasonable cost. Apollo Cancer Institute has developed another specialised center which is providing advanced treatment for Oncology treatment which is known as Proton therapy.
Out of the total number of patients, 40 per cent visiting the hospital from Bangladesh are for oncology.
The hospital specialises in kidney, liver transplant, knee replacement, heap joint replacement, scoliosis (deformation of spine), IVF and valve replacement.
The hospital is treating Bangladesh patients through three centers across Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet while Chattogram is represented by Sangu Tours. These centers are connecting patients with the hospital.
Health Connect is the lead organisation in Bangladesh representing the hospital for five years now.
While visiting the stall of Health Connect/Sangu Tours at Chittagong Travel Mart 2022, a patient arrived with a happy face. Md Abdul Masur visited the stall with boxes of sweets and praised the hospital's service and successful treatment.
He was enormously happy with Dr Balaji, who carried out his surgery and saved his leg from amputation.
The patient primarily tried for treatment in Singapore but the cost was absorbent high. Also, they could not assure the patient that they will be able to save his leg from amputation.
However, in Chennai at Apollo, the cost was only one tenth and the best part is the patient is now enjoying walking with his leg.
