Six-day Int'l Women's festival at Shimanto Shambhar ends

Dhaka : Showbiz Entertainment organised  International Women's Day Festival 2021 from March 8-13 at Shimanto Shambhar Shopping Complex in the capital. 
The event featured 32 stalls comprising everything from food to clothes. The food stalls served popular and delicious street food items to the visitors. Moreover, there were many stalls showcasing women apparels, home décor items, kitchen appliances, and cosmetics. For kids, there were toys and rides to enjoy at the fair as well. 
Visitors also indulged in pithas and other food items of the spring at the food stalls. 
It may be mentioned here, for traditional craft lovers, there were stalls featuring handicraft products made by grassroots women entrepreneurs. This allowed the hardworking and talented grassroot women entrepreneurs to be more empowered and self-reliant. 
To make it even more fun, the festival also organised various sports and entertainment activities that women and families can enjoy such as brimming competition, karaoke, celebrity meet, red carpet, selfie-zone, talk show and other cultural events. 
There was also an award giving ceremony which honoured women leading in different lines of works, from corporate to celebrities.
The six-day long fair started every day at 10:00 am and end at 10:00 pm.
