Turkish Airlines wins Best Airline in Europe title at Skytrax

The carrier also secured
the World’s Best Business Class Onboard Catering award for the 10th time
and was named Best Airline in Southern Europe for the 13th time.
The latest recognition
brought Turkish Airlines’ total haul at this year’s Skytrax ceremony to eight
awards. The airline also collected five other honors covering Economy and
Business Class categories in Europe and Southern Europe.
The awards are based on
passenger feedback collected through the Skytrax World Airline Awards survey,
making the results a reflection of travelers’ assessments of airline services
and onboard experiences.
Prof. Murat Şeker,
chairman of the board and executive committee of Turkish Airlines, said the
repeated recognition reflected the airline’s standards across areas including
customer service and food.
He said the
passenger-based nature of the awards made the latest results particularly
significant for the carrier.
Turkish Airlines has
continued to position service quality and its inflight culinary program as key
parts of its international offering. The 2026 results add to the airline’s long
record of recognition from Skytrax, including its repeated success in the
European airline category.
The awards were presented
at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards ceremony.
