Dhaka: The Embassy of Bangladesh in Riyadh has issued an urgent notice for Bangladeshi nationals currently staying in Saudi Arabia on expired visas, urging them to leave the country by April 18, 2026, to avoid legal complications.
According to the announcement released on March 25, Saudi authorities have granted a special opportunity for foreign nationals whose visit, Umrah, or final exit visas expired after February 25, 2026, but who have not yet departed the kingdom.
Under this provision, affected individuals will be allowed to leave Saudi Arabia without any penalties or visa extension requirements if they exit the country on or before April 18. They can do so by purchasing an air ticket and proceeding directly to the airport for departure.
The embassy specifically called on Bangladeshi citizens holding expired visit visas, Umrah visas, and final exit visas to take advantage of this opportunity and leave within the stipulated timeframe.
It also warned that failure to depart Saudi Arabia within the given deadline may result in legal complications and possible penalties under Saudi law.
The embassy has requested all concerned individuals to act promptly and make necessary travel arrangements to ensure compliance with the directive.
