Dhaka : As part of its commitment towards the country's healthcare, MTB Foundation, in partnership with Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital (IIEIH) recently organized a 'Community Eye Health Partnership for preventing avoidable Blindness of the Ethnic Community' in Kulaura, Moulvibazar. The program was attended by Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of MTB Foundation.
A large number of underserved people belonging to the ethnic community were provided with basic healthcare facilities including eye screening, medicine, distribution of prescription eyewear, as well surgeries like cataract, pterygium, Dacryocy-storhinostomy (DCR), and Dacryocystectomy (DCT).
