Dhaka : Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) arranged Branch Manager (BM) and Branch Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (BAMLCO) Conference on November 8, 2025.
The purpose was to update and create awareness on key deliverables for Anti Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism (AML&CFT) compliance.
More than 130 and 295 participants attended physically and virtually.
Branch managers, BAMLCOs, and Corporate Head Office executives were present at the day-long hybrid conference.
The event was attended by Md Mofizur Rahman Khan Chowdhury, Executive Director and Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) (Acting), as the chief guest.
The conference was hosted by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD and CEO of MTB.
Sajjad Hossain, Additional Director, BFIU, and Md Mahbubur Rahman, Joint Director, BFIU were present as the guest speakers.
Additional Managing Directors, De-puty Managing Directors, Management Committee, and Central Compliance Committee (CCC) members of MTB were also present at the conference.
Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer moderated the event.
