Prime Bank Foundation supports free eyecare camp in Kulaura

Dhaka : A day-long free eye treatment and follow-up service camp was organized in Kulaura, Moulvibazar, with the support of Prime Bank Foundation (Sister Concern of Prime Bank PLC). The camp was held at the premises of Kulaura Girls' High School on November 22.

The initiative was led by the Bakhtunnesa Chowdhury Charitable Foundation, aiming to ensure essential eyecare services for underprivileged communities. Through this camp, beneficiaries received comprehensive eye check-ups, primary treatment, and guidance for further medical support where required. Patients with cataract were brought to PBEH, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, operated successfully and transported back to Kulaura under PBEH's arrangement.

A total of 363 people received free eyecare services during the camp, among whom 62 individuals received free cataract surgeries at Prime Bank Eye Hospital.

Colonel (Rtd) Liaquat Ali Khan, Head of CSR, East Coast Group; and Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Head of Kulaura Branch, Prime Bank were also present.
