flynas launches direct Jeddah-Rabat flights starting July 4

Riyadh : Saudi low-cost carrier flynas has
announced the launch of direct flights between Jeddah and the Moroccan capital,
Rabat, beginning July 4, becoming the first Saudi airline to operate a non-stop
service between the two cities.
The new route will operate with one weekly
direct flight and expands flynas' network between Saudi Arabia and Morocco. The
airline already serves Casablanca from Jeddah with three weekly direct flights,
a route introduced in 2023.
The addition of Rabat is expected to provide
travelers with more options for travel between Saudi Arabia and Morocco while
supporting growing demand on the route. The airline said the move forms part of
its broader strategy to strengthen connectivity between the Kingdom and
international destinations, particularly across Africa.
The new service also aligns with Saudi Arabia's
aviation and tourism ambitions under Vision 2030. The route is expected to
contribute to the Kingdom's National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to
increase air connectivity and expand international destinations served by Saudi
carriers. It is also expected to support efforts to facilitate travel for
visitors and Umrah pilgrims arriving through Jeddah's King Abdulaziz
International Airport.
Founded in 2007, flynas operates more than
2,000 weekly flights across over 80 domestic and int’l destinations in 38
countries. The airline has carried over 110 million passengers since its launch
and plans to expand its network to 165 destinations.
