Prime Bank holds youth employability session at UIU


Dhaka
: Prime Bank PLC organized a session of its "Empowering Youth-Season
2.0" initiative at United International University (UIU) to help bridge
the gap between academia and the corporate sector by equipping students with
career guidance and financial literacy.
Executive
Director (Grade-I) of Bangladesh Bank Rup Ratan Pine attended the event as the
chief guest. He urged students to focus on both academic performance and
extracurricular activities to improve their career prospects in the public and
private sectors. He also encouraged them to take advantage of Bangladesh Bank's
Student Banking facility to develop financial literacy and savings habits from
an early stage.
Prime
Bank Additional Managing Director and Head of Consumer and SME Banking Division
M. Nazeem A. Choudhury delivered the keynote address, highlighting the skills
and mindset required to succeed in today's competitive job market. He shared
lessons from his own career, emphasizing resilience, sound decision-making, and
continuous learning.
Senior
Vice President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking M M Mahbub
Hasan spoke about Prime Bank's financial inclusion initiatives and the
importance of responsible money management for young people.
The
program concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session and a live
mock interview, providing students with practical exposure to corporate
recruitment and career development.
