Qatar Airways to serve over 160 destinations in summer

Doha
: Qatar Airways will operate flights to more than 160 destinations during the
Summer 2026 schedule as the carrier accelerates the restoration of its global
network following disruptions earlier this year.
The
airline announced that it resumed services to 26 destinations from June 16,
expanding its network across Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe. The
latest expansion follows the gradual resumption of operations since March, when
the airline restarted flights to more than 60 destinations.
In
Africa, Qatar Airways is restoring services to Kigali, Seychelles and
Marrakesh, while a new route to Port Sudan is scheduled to begin on July 2. In
the Americas, the airline will resume flights to Caracas and Bogotá on July 22,
followed by the return of Philadelphia services from August 1. Boston will
initially be served four times weekly before increasing to daily flights in
support of travel demand during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The
carrier is also increasing frequencies to several FIFA World Cup host cities in
the United States, including Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco.
Across
Asia-Pacific, Qatar Airways is resuming flights to Adelaide, Auckland, Osaka,
Tokyo Haneda, Almaty, Baku, Tashkent, Tbilisi and Yerevan. In Europe, services
are returning to cities including Brussels, Lisbon, Oslo, Prague, Düsseldorf,
Helsinki, Belgrade, Budapest and Zagreb, with some destinations receiving
additional frequencies from August.
Qatar
Airways said, the expansion is aimed at strengthening international
connectivity through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport. The airline
also highlighted its operational performance, noting it recorded an 84.42
percent on-time performance in 2025 and received Cirium's Platinum Award for
Operational Excellence.
