Thai restaurant 'TukTuk Express' opens in Gulshan


Dhaka
: A new Thai restaurant 'TukTuk Express' has started its journey in the
capital's Gulshan-1, offering an authentic Thai dining experience inspired by
street food culture.
Animesh
Saha, Deputy Managing Director of PRAN Group, inaugurated the restaurant
recently.
TukTuk
Express features a diverse menu of traditional Thai dishes, including Special
Lobster Chili Paste, Creamy Basil Fish, Mango Sticky Rice, and other signature
items.
The
management said, the restaurant aims to bring the flavors of Thai street food
to Dhaka while ensuring affordability and quality.
At
the inauguration, Animesh Saha said the initiative is designed to offer more
than just food.
"Through
TukTuk Express, we aim to provide a complete Thai dining experience where
guests can enjoy cuisine, culture, and hospitality in a vibrant setting,"
he added.
Head
of Business Development Muhaiminul Islam Tomal said, the restaurant has been
designed as a multi-experience venue.
In
addition to dining, TukTuk Express offers karaoke sessions, live music
performances, and themed spaces such as a TukTuk corner to enhance customer
engagement.
He
added that an experienced Thai chef and a trained service team have been
recruited to ensure authentic taste and service quality.
As
part of its launch offers, the restaurant has introduced a loyalty card
program.
Customers
will receive a card after their first visit, which will later allow them to
claim complimentary food items on subsequent visits.
The
inauguration was attended by TukTuk Express's senior officials including Md Ali
Hasan Alam, Senior General Manager (Marketing), Ranjan Kumar Dey, Deputy
General Manager (HR), and Shafik Shahin, Assistant General Manager (Marketing).
