K-Goods Festa 2026 to showcase Korean brands, food, culture in Dhaka

Dhaka: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bangladesh and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) are set to launch “K-Goods Festa 2026,” a two-day festival showcasing Korean products, culture, and innovation, at Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka.
The event will be held on June 19-20 at the East Court of the country's largest shopping mall, bringing together leading Korean brands and offering Bangladeshi consumers a firsthand experience of Korean lifestyle, technology, and culture, read a press release from the embassy.
According to organizers, the festival will feature a wide range of Korean consumer products, including electronics, cosmetics, skincare, personal care items, food products, and lifestyle goods. The initiative aims to strengthen trade and business links between Bangladesh and South Korea while creating opportunities for local importers, retailers, distributors, and consumers.
The inaugural ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm on June 19.
Beyond commercial exhibitions, the event will offer visitors an immersive Korean cultural experience through a variety of attractions and interactive activities. These include K-Pop performances, K-Beauty makeup demonstrations, Korean food tasting sessions, kimchi-making experiences, Hanbok try-on activities, instant photo zones, tourism information booths, and scholarship information desks.
One of the major attractions of the festival will be the popular Buldak Spicy Noodle Challenge, allowing participants to test their tolerance for one of Korea's most famous spicy food products.
Organizers said the event reflects the growing popularity of Korean products and cultural content among Bangladeshi consumers. They hope the festival will serve as a platform to introduce innovative Korean products to the local market while fostering stronger commercial partnerships between businesses in the two countries.
The organizers also aim to establish K-Goods Festa as a signature annual event in Bangladesh, combining commerce, culture, and innovation under one roof and bringing Korean lifestyle experiences closer to Bangladeshi audiences.
The festival is expected to attract a large number of visitors, including business representatives, students, culture enthusiasts, and consumers interested in Korean products and trends.
