Dhaka: The Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroza Khanam Rita and State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat attended a corporate iftar program held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon on Tuesday, March 10 evening.
The event, organized at the hotel in Dhaka at around 5:00 pm, brought together officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, senior government representatives, and stakeholders from the hospitality sector, read a press release.
Speaking as the chief guest, Minister Afroza Khanam Rita said that Pan Pacific Sonargaon has been contributing significantly to the development of Bangladesh’s tourism and hospitality industry with professionalism and reputation for many years. She also thanked the organizers for arranging the iftar gathering during the holy month of Ramadan.
Addressing the event as a special guest, State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat said the teachings of Ramadan inspire people to work with dedication for the welfare of the country and its citizens.
A raffle draw was also held during the program with the participation of the guests.
Among others present at the event were Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Nasreen Jahan and Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Air Vice Marshal Mostafa Mahmud Siddique, along with senior officials from the ministry and Bangladesh Services Limited.
