Emirates SkyCargo joins hands with Dogs 4 Wildlife to strengthen anti-poaching efforts

Dubai: Emirates SkyCargo has partnered with UK-based charity Dogs 4 Wildlife to support wildlife conservation efforts in Africa by transporting specially trained anti-poaching dogs.
Under the initiative, the first two Belgian Malinois tracking dogs, Vega and Kuda, will travel from the UK to Zimbabwe via Dubai later this month. Trained to track human scent, the dogs will join a new conservation K9 unit at Zimbabwe’s Matusadona National Park, helping rangers detect and deter poachers.
Through its specialist live-animal transportation services, Emirates SkyCargo ensures the safe and welfare-focused movement of animals across its global network. The airline also maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal wildlife trade, including a ban on transporting hunting trophies.
As part of its broader commitment to wildlife protection, Emirates has trained more than 46,000 employees to identify and report potential wildlife trafficking activities, working closely with authorities and conservation organizations worldwide.
