Thai Airways adopts CHAMP cargo platform to modernize operations

Bangkok
: Thai Airways International is upgrading its air cargo operations with CHAMP
Cargosystems' Cargospot neo suite as the airline looks to improve efficiency,
digital visibility and customer service.
The
Thai flag carrier will deploy the system across key cargo functions, including
sales, reservations, warehouse operations, handling, load planning, revenue
management and analytics. The move is part of its broader transformation
following its rehabilitation process.
Cargospot
neo is built on CHAMP's neo Platform, which uses an API-based architecture,
automation and embedded artificial intelligence. Thai Airways expects the
technology to connect previously separate workflows and provide more real-time
information across its cargo business.
For
customers, the system is designed to support quicker bookings, shipment
tracking and greater visibility throughout the transportation process.
Thai
Airways will also implement Cargospot neo Revenue Management, which uses demand
and capacity forecasting with dynamic pricing to help the carrier improve cargo
yields while balancing market competitiveness and profitability.
Surapon
Pisutpattana, managing director of THAI Cargo Terminal Service, said CHAMP was
selected based on its established relationship with the airline and the
performance of its technology in Thailand's cargo market.
CHAMP
CEO Manuel Galindo said the platform would provide Thai Airways with a scalable
digital foundation to support growth and strengthen its position in an
increasingly technology-driven air cargo industry.
