UPS reshuffles leadership as it moves to global operating model

Atlanta : UPS is reorganizing its senior leadership and adopting a new global operating structure as the logistics company shifts its focus toward profitable growth.

The changes took effect September 1, following the completion of the company's Amazon volume reduction and network restructuring initiatives in June.

Kate Gutmann, executive vice president and president of International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions, will retire after nearly 37 years with UPS. She will remain with the company as a strategic adviser through March 2027.

Wilfredo Ramos, currently responsible for UPS's Asia Pacific and Brokerage operations, will succeed Gutmann as                 executive vice president and chief International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions officer.
